BidRover is designed to help teams review public opportunities without turning incomplete source material into false certainty. This page describes controls implemented in the current product, not a third-party certification.
Honest capability states
Sources are labeled live, setup-required, degraded, or coming soon. Private portal access and OCR are not represented as active when they are unavailable.
Read-only AI assistance
Ask Rover receives a bounded organization-scoped snapshot and cannot submit bids, change records, browse arbitrary systems, or act outside BidRover.
How the workspace is protected.
Account access
Verified email ownership and D1-backed Better Auth sessions protect the customer workspace.
Organization scope
Opportunity records, reviews, notes, preferences, and team access are resolved within the signed-in organization’s data scope.
Retained evidence
Captured source documents are retained in Cloudflare R2 while account-scoped metadata and extracted text remain in D1.
Hosted billing
Stripe hosts checkout and the customer billing portal. BidRover does not collect card details in its own forms.
Server-side integrations
Microsoft Graph email and model-provider credentials remain server-side Worker secrets rather than browser code.

What BidRover does not promise.
- BidRover does not guarantee that every procurement source or private portal is connected.
- BidRover does not guarantee eligibility, award probability, or the completeness of an upstream buyer record.
- AI output can be wrong and should be checked against the original source before a submission decision.
- Image-only documents may require OCR before their text becomes searchable.
