Questions

Is the bids widget free?

Yes. The widget is free for chambers of commerce, APEX Accelerators, SBDCs, economic-development offices, associations and anyone else who helps businesses find public work. No account or API key is needed.

What does the widget show?

Open bids from official government sources: the title, category, state or country and closing date. Each bid links to its public page on BidRover, where visitors can set up free weekly email alerts.

How often does it update?

BidRover checks its sources every day. The widget refreshes from that data about every ten minutes.

Will it slow down my site?

No. The list loads in a lazy iframe of plain HTML with a few kilobytes of CSS, and the optional script only resizes the frame to fit.
