Description

The University of Calgary, intends to procure a customized full-size humanoid robotic research platform to support advanced research and training in embodied artificial intelligence, agentic autonomy, whole-body locomotion and manipulation, autonomous decision-making, perception in hazardous and confined environments, and integration with existing robotic systems and infrastructure. The platform will be used to conduct research into autonomous robotic systems capable of perceiving, reasoning, planning, and executing complex physical tasks within dynamic and hazardous environments, including urban search and rescue scenarios.
