Affordability and Utilities - Pre-qualification Request - Consultants for the Utilities Consumer Advocate

Description

The Office of the Utilities Consumer Advocate (UCA), within the Ministry of Affordability and Utilities, is responsible for balancing effective industry regulation and protection of consumer interests in order to ensure a consistent, competitive and flexible approach in the delivery of services to Albertans. This Pre-Qualification Request (PQR) is being issued in order to establish a Standing Offer List capable of providing the UCA with professional consulting services relating to its representation of the interests of Alberta residential, farm and small business consumers of electricity and natural gas before proceedings of the Alberta Utilities Commission, and other bodies whose decisions may affect the interests of those consumers. This PQR will establish a pool of Pre-Qualified Contractors able to provide expertise in, at least, one (1) of the following service categories: • Econom
