Description
The Scottish Prison Service (SPS) requires a suitably qualified multidisciplinary supplier to prepare three (3) Conservation Strategies for selected historic assets across its estate. The commission will cover the following sites: HMP Barlinnie (Glasgow), HMP Castle Huntly (near Dundee) and HMP Perth (Perth). The Conservation Strategies will act as practical, significance-led management tools to support maintenance, repair, operation, adaptation, and future decision-making for historic and listed buildings. The work will include (but is not limited to): 1) Review of baseline information and historic development 2) Building and fabric surveys 3) Structural appraisal input 4) Significance assessments 5) Condition surveys and defect registers 6) Preparation of marked-up drawings showing significance and risk 7) Development of prioritised action plans (short to long term) 8) Maintenance and
