he project concerns the refurbishment of the Mount Edgcumbe Barrow Centre following damage sustained to the accommodation block by a fire on the afternoon of 04 February 2025. 3.2. The primary objective of the project is to re-establish the commercial operations of the fire damaged parts of the Barrow Centre whilst giving due consideration to its surroundings, heritage and constraints. 3.3. The Barrow Centre comprises the historic service yard and associated buildings for the Mount Edgcumbe Estate, now utilised as a visitors centre for the modern park and gardens. The central U-shaped stable block consists of a two and three storey mixed-use building containing a cafe, shops, workers flats and 2 holiday lets.
