Description
The UK Government's Partnering for Accelerated Climate Transitions (UK PACT) programme is inviting proposals from qualified suppliers or consortia to deliver technical assistance to the government of Bangladesh. Bangladesh is establishing the foundations for participation in high-integrity carbon markets, including Article 6, CORSIA and voluntary carbon markets. While progress has been made through the establishment of a carbon market framework and supporting governance arrangements, further support is needed to operationalise these systems across government, strengthen institutional coordination, and enable Bangladesh to use carbon markets to support delivery of its NDC 3.0 unconditional mitigation targets.
