The Vale of Glamorgan Council is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced architectural practice to provide architectural, feasibility and design development services for the proposed redevelopment of the ground floor of the former Wilko store, 59–71 Holton Road, Barry, into a new indoor market. The commission will include review of the existing building and available survey information, feasibility and options appraisal, development and refinement of architectural concept designs, consideration of the building frontage and entrances, internal market layout, circulation, accessibility, customer and welfare facilities, servicing and back-of-house requirements, together with initial planning and statutory considerations.
